okay, so I was swapping out the old intake boots on the XJ11 and low and behold in Yamaha's infinite wisdom they thought it would be a fantastic idea to use stainless hardware in an aluminum head with no thread treatment! So, as you can imagine, after 20 years of riding like that, 2 of the intake boot mounting bolts snapped. Started getting them out by drilling them out and snapped drill bits in both of them.
So, now before I do anymore damage, I'm looking for a machine shop in the Dayton area that can not only get them out for me (which shouldn't be an issue) but can do it at a really nice "You're a great dude" price!
